Queue Tuner for Time Shift Channel Surfing?

Is there any way, to queue a channel while in timeshift mode if you have dual tuners? I typically watch 2 shows and flip back and forth between the two with the last button. Would it be possible to queue another channel (possibly the last one) on the 2nd tuner, so that when you switch channels, it is almost seamless? I remember reading that the delay is more in the mux, than the tuner, so I don't know if this would work or be possible.
