Freezing Frames

I am using a Diamond USB 660 and it worked fine the first recording, but ever since the recorded programs are pausing and jumping ahead. It also is pretty choppy overall, any suggestions. One other problem, the commerical skip tends to skip over a majority of certain programs any solutions?

It is plugged into a usb 2 port and to clear things up, several recordings work fine using gbpvr. The ones that don't work in gbpvr, work when used in a different viewer (Creative Media Source Player). The picture and audio are both freezing and then a few seconds later are resuming were they left off.

Its sound like its probably related to the decoders you're using. I'd experiment with different combinations of audio/video decoder.

I only have two options on the video (Cyberlink and Elecard) and cybyerlink displays nothing and the Elecard has the same problems as before

Some of the latest video cards have hardware MPEG decoders onboard. That might be an option as well. I think both ATI and NVIDIA have these...something to think about anyway.
I've had this same issue on my PC before....but all play just fine on the MVP. I just keep trying different software decoders until I find one that works. LA.
