The only files in skin\blue\xdvd is settings.xml & skin.xml

I done a system search earlier, and the only config.xml it found in the GBPVR folder was the one i mentioned above. Weird

Ooops.

Just checked mine and it's settings.xml you are looking for not config.xml.

Just FYI, you need to open the .xml files in notepad to edit - I believe there are (used to be?) formatting problems with using frontpage, etc. Better safe than sorry.

My settins.xml i think is correct:

<settings>
<TempFile>c:\dvd.mpg</TempFile>
<PlayMode mode="SIZE" value="150"/>
<DVDDrive>d</DVDDrive>
<BaseFileDirectory>C:\Documents and Settings\Martin\My Documents\My Videos\</BaseFileDirectory>
<MountDVDDrive>f</MountDVDDrive>
<ForceMvpMode>true</ForceMvpMode>
</settings>

I then have subdirectories within My Videos e.g Movies, Music Videos....

I just noticed, my Daemon Tools icon in the system tray is red, should it be green?

Mine is red too, I don't think it changes color.

I *think* so - it's been a long time since I used this plugin to be honest. You do have the daemon drive mounted, yeah? I'm guessing in your case it's F...

When i right click on Daemon Tools on the system tray, and go to 'Virtual CD/DVD-rom' it says 'Device 0: [F] No media' i am assuming that XDVD will mount the ISO image automatically when i select the ISO in GBPVR - XDVD?

Hi Bigmaz, happy new year to you too.Smile

Only thing I can think of right now is to put quotation marks around the basefile setting too:

Code:
<BaseFileDirectory>"C:\Documents and Settings\Martin\My Documents\My Videos"\</BaseFileDirectory>

But I really doubt if that will help. I think there is something going wrong in the process before that: the %2 part.

You might want to enter a post, asking if anybody is still using this plugin?:o
