I upgraded to 9905 last night
(from 95-16 )
added net 2.0

when i first booted up the gbpvr it worked fine (love the new interface and the way that you can still watch when you back out and look at other screens )
once i stopped watching a video and tried to watch live tv the screen went black and wont show anything in the gbpvr window
i rebooted the computer and it work fine until i did the same thing

rebooted and left the computer running and got these error messages when i got home

application has generated an exception that could not be handled
process id=0xcc8(3272), thread id=0xa8(168)

then this error came up

registered jit debugger error code 0x2 (2)
cordbg.exe la 0xcc8

thanks for the help

attached are log files

Quote:15:14:47.578 VERBOSE Graph contains the following filters:
15:14:47.578 VERBOSE - Default DirectSound Device
15:14:47.578 VERBOSE - Video Renderer
15:14:47.578 VERBOSE - Nero Digital Audio Decoder
15:14:47.578 VERBOSE - MainConcept (Nikon) MPEG Video Decoder

15:14:47.578 VERBOSE - MPEG-2 Demultiplexer
15:14:47.609 VERBOSE - Encoder
15:14:47.609 VERBOSE - Capture
15:14:47.609 VERBOSE - Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Crossbar
15:14:47.609 VERBOSE - TV Audio
15:14:47.609 VERBOSE - TV Tuner
The first thing I'd try is using other decoders to see if it helps. Neither the video decoder or audio decoder you're using are commonly used.

what i have notice is that if i exit the program and the go to the
stop recording services and then restart them then reopen gbpvr then it will work (live tv)
not going to do that every time

how do i go back to a previous version (9516)
I copied the entire folder on to a flash drive and i have the original msi file

If you want me to try anything before i go back to the previous version let me know

The config.xml and gbpvr.db3/.mdb files are the only important ones, but never copy them from a different version of GB-PVR. You can only copy them from files backed up from the same version.
