I've got GB-PVR running through my MVP and it works really, really well.

The only little problems I've got is that when it's running there are small vertical lines right the way across the screen.

You don't really notice from a distance, but sitting on the sofa they are quite clear. If I run MVP with the standard software this effect doesn't appear.

The other little thing is that when I play a video, there is always a 1 - 2 inch black strip at the bottom of the screen, again I'm not sure if I'm not clicking on a setting or something.

Any help or thoughts most appreciated

Are you watching NTSC video (720x480) on a MVP configured for PAL (720x576)? This can result in a black bar at the bottom (576-480=96)

I've never heard this vertical line problem before. Do they move? Are they always on the screen (menus/video/etc)? Do they cover the entire screen?

I have seen this a few times myself with TV-Out cards, it's like the CRT is being over scanned or something by too high a resolution which might be a pal/ntsc issue too.
