Things that should be "pending" aren't

I was running 98.8b and Access database, but I've updated to current release and SQLite now and have the same behavior.

The problem is that a couple of my old recurring entries have stopped recording new episodes and adding new recurring entries to replace them doesn't seem to pick them up either.

Adding completely new one-time and recurring recordings in other timeslots seems to work fine. I guess it smells like database corruption or a time conflict, but I don't know how to fix the first and I don't see any evidence of the 2nd.

Any thoughts anyone?

Do an 'Update EPG' in the config app, then zip and attach the config.exe.log. Also post a the name of show that should have scheduled some more episodes and the time of an example show not scheduled and I'll take a look.

This find the two new episodes you mentioned, but you already have a recording with this same episode ID (either 'ready' or 'pending'), so it decides there is no point in recording it again.

Thanks for the quick look sub!

Scanning through the logs, I saw the same thing, but I wasn't sure of the interpretation of the log entry. The way I read this, it's saying that it's not going to record because it's already scheduled to record at another time, right? However, if I look in "Pending" recordings, there are no listings at all for either Veronica Mars or Gilmore Girls and when I look in the guide listings, these shows aren't marked red to indicate that they're going to record.

Any other thoughts?

LOL, sub...it seems that my GBPVR has outsmarted me yet again. These episodes are in fact re-runs that are already in "Ready".

On the bright side, this exercise did get me to upgrade to SQLite and the latest version of GBPVR, so it wasn't a complete waste of time.

Out of curiosity and as a "learner" is that EPnnnnnnn one of the zap2it things I hear about that is unique to the US. Is the number generated by zap2it or the program makers??
(Hmmm how do we Brits get the RadioTimes to do the same )
