I often (but not always) see conflicts reported when recording back to back shows. Padding is set to zero before and after. This seems to cause a recording to "fail" and then another is started immediately afterwards that succeeds.

Conflict resolution seems to only offer to cancel one of the other.

Is there a better way to handle back to back recordings?

If you can zip and attach you gbpvr.db3 file when its in this state, I'll take a look why. Because others arent reporting the same problem, I suspect its due to some season recording that was created twice or something like that.

That would seem to make sense... but.

After scheduling a season recording, each back to back episode is reported to be in conflict. However, there is only one entry for each show, not two as I would expect if I had inadvertently scheduled two recordings. In other words, with four back to back episodes, all four are shown in conflict and there are no others shown. For each pending recording that was reported to be in conflict, there utimately is a failed recording followed by a successful one.

Is it possible that if I do accidentally schedule two identical season recordings, only one is displayed under Pending Recordings?

go into the gbpvr folder
locate the gbpvr.db3 file
zip it
post it on here
then sub will have a look for you
otherwise you are just guessing

Too late. The recordings in question have all completed. If it happens again, I'll post the db3 file.

Thanks,
Paul
