Quote:It does happen from time to time that GB-PVR will get into a corner, and give me the popup messege ("Object something something") and will not play anything from that point. Then two clicks on the remote and I'm back online (wife knows that button too).

Sub - this is not to complain about those cases. It could be issues with my setup, and unless I pick the specific scenario and logs, I don't mean to complain about it or report it. I'm OK with it.
Its probably worth posting the logs next time you get one of these so we can fix the problem.

Madcat, that's an incredibly useful program!

What would be the best way to adapt it to solve the following problem, do you think?

When GBPVR starts, more often than not, it crashes with the MS dump dialog onscreen but GBPVR seemingly running happily underneath, until I select one of the two buttons on the MS dialog, which terminates GBPVR. Repeat up to three or four times, when GBPVR will then start successfully.

To automate that cycle would be fab - even better would be to resolve the crashing of course but nothing I do seems to help... Smile

Have you posted the logs for this?

There could be ways to do it with AutoIt3. I have it "macro" some stuff on my work PC, where it can run programs, click on sepcific buttons, etc.
You'd have to do it yourself, because it comes with a tool that help you identify the actual button it should click for you etc.

However!
I think this one is not something I'd recommend to sweep under the carpet...
You better work this one out with Sub, I'm sure you can solve it.
