How do i get GBPVR to shut down the computer

Can any one tell me how to get the PC go back to suspend mode after a recording. Smile

It not something GB-PVR does itself. You have to set your PC to automatically suspend after a period of inactivity.

I use either hibernator or winOFF both do the same sort of thing, as I found windows power management a bit hit or miss.

You can try the psshutdown from sysinternals.com to control the hibernation after recording.

Just for curiosity - can someone tell me what the whole deal with shutting/hibernating/suspending the PC is all about?
What's the story to leave the PCs running? the only PC at home we shutdown is my daughter's, but it's old and make a hell of a noise sometimes. I hope your media PC are decently quiet...

It could save you a lot of moneyWink and the system might last longer.

The heatwave in my country and having to close windows whilst out, means I don't cook anything or start a fire. Also I jst prefer to have things turned off when not in use.

Will a machine in the suspended state wake if you try to access the webserver to schedule a show?
