I have just had to reinstall windows, and it has been put onto f: rather than e:
I have a backup of my old system (using norton ghost) so have all the old files at hand that can be restored to the new system disk.
However, I have tried restoring the gbpvr dir to the new Program Files directory, and running a reinstall using 'repair', but I get errors when trying to run GBPVR.

Is it possible to do what I am trying to ? If so, how do I do it ?

I have tried doing a clean instal, but I want to maintain all my old channel mappings, settings, recording etc -and I had it just how I liked it before the reinstall of windows!

Why don't you just reinstall GBPVR, thats the best thing to do.

If I understand you correct it is the applications drive that has become F: instead of E:. Can't you just change the drive letters back to the old situation?

Sorry, I dont test stuff like this, so you're out of my area of expertise. Infact I've never installed it anywhere other than the default directory.

I'd just do a fresh install, then assuming its the same version as the backup, I'd try copying the backed up gbpvr.db3 file into the new installed.

Yes, if you're still using the old MDB database.
