I'm not getting any reviews at all either with 99.5. Just showtimes...

I do have to apologize, I just haven't had the time to fix this. I am hoping to get some time this weekend to work on it. Fandango keeps changing things around which breaks the plugin. I swear they must do it on purpose to frustrate me Smile

Hey, any word on the fix for this? Is this plugin still supported?

I know I am being a bit greedy here, but in looking for other soap-based sites that offer movie listings, I found this site (which only works in Canada)
http://wap.tribute.ca/ I don't know if it is soap based but unlike http://www.tribute.ca, it is intended to send the information to a pda or other device. If it would work the same way as fandango, would it be possible to allow a choice of download sites? For me, it has the added improvement of listing empire theatre listings and rainbow listings which are missing from Fandango. According to Fandango, the problem is that those theatres don't send them their information. I tried contacting the theatre chains in question but they apparently weren't interested.

Other sites that provide listing in Canada and the US include (don't know if they are soap based)
http://movies.go.com/
http://movies.yahoo.com/showtimes/change...e=20070208
http://www.waff.com/Global/link.asp?L=185319 (has the advantage, like zap2it, of limiting listing to movie theatres within x km of your postal code\zip code which is important for those living in zip codes covering a large area)
http://www.wlns.com/Global/link.asp?L=18...nu25_14_13 (same as previous but sponsored by a different TV station: note that even though I am not in the broadcast range of either TV station, I was able to get listings for my area)

These last two sites include the following disclaimer, but I assume that non-commerical use, includes use as part of GB-pvr:
"To encourage a free and continuous flow of information, you are permitted (which may be revoked at any time) to download the material in the Web site for private, non-commercial use only, without alterations, so long as the copyright notices, appearing on the material downloaded, "© Copyright 2001-2003 WorldNow. All Rights Reserved" and/or "© Copyright 2001-2003 [this Station]. All Rights Reserved" is included. By downloading material from the Web site, you agree that you do not acquire any ownership rights."

When I click on Theater I get "you have no shows to watch"

I've added a couple zip codes.
I originally installed it by installing plain jane but then I seen this thread and installed the update. But still no dice.

New USER.

Just download 99.12 and the TheaterListings plugin. Configured it with 2 zipcodes. I get a movie listing but I am not getting
REVIEWS or POSTERS. What am I doing wrong?
Can anyone help?

Also when it goes to the REVIEW/EXIT screen; EXIT does not work when you click on it; the X in the top right corner does (the one for the screen).

Thanks,
CarolinaGuy

CarolinaGuy,

You're not doing anything wrong. The site where the information comes from (Fandango.com I believe) changed their format a couple months ago. The plugin author is going to update the code when he finds time.

In the meanwhile get the international cinema listings latest. It includes zap2it data for the US an Canada and works very well. Fandango is coming soon as well.

What is this?

If it helps the author here, I'm anxious to get theater listings fully working again too. Big Grin
