Well, it seems gbpvr screwed up another recording of the same show I attempted to record a couple months ago (and therefore I have yet to get the damn episode recorded). I also lost a 2 other shows because gbpvr stopped recording audio/video without giving any notice of doing so. It kept taking up space though. I open the 14 gig file that resulted from 5 hours of recording (720x480, NTSC 29.97fps, 192kbps mono) and both my mpg editor and Windows Media Player say the file is only 1 hr 27 min long. How can that be? I have no idea. It just stopped recording right in the middle of a commerical. The only thing I can think of is that since I was playing PowerDVD at the same time that gbpvr got nervous and decided to stop recording. Does it not play nice with other video software? I was also using quickpar, UltraISO, Opera, a news program, etc. so if the video software isn't the problem then something else was. I'd like to know so I can eventually get a particular episode recorded that I've now tried 2 times with gbpvr to no avail.
thanks
