I have an external tuner that will tune to atsc channels. I have s-video out from the tuner going into my Emuzed MAUI-IIIg card. This works well, but I'm having trouble setting up the ir blaster.
I have an rs-232 blaster (http://www.irblaster.info/ they cost $12) - that I finally got working with winlirc and digits.exe(thanks to the forums! , however, I need to be able to send sub-channels via the .exe Changer Plugin. (ie: 4-1) I can do this fine on the command line, but haven't figured out how to get GBPVR to recognize 4-1 as a channel.
I am using zap2it, and have it config'd for the digital channels. When GBPVR lists them, it uses the major channel number (ie: 4 instead of 4-1). I tried changing it in the Source channel in the recording source and also in the Channels tab. From what I can guess, the DB field is set to be a number field.
Update: As I was writing this I figured out a workaround. I noticed that the channels that I was wanting to use didn't have a '9' in them, so in my winlirc remote config file, I deleted the code for 9, and changed the 'dash' code to '9'. Then I changed the Source Channel to be 491. What ends up happening is that GBPVR sends the channel 491 to digits.exe, which telnets to the winlirc server (on the local box) and sends 491. Winlirc will then send 4-1 to the ir blaster.
I did this with all of my channels and it works like a champ!
