OK, I'll comment Big Grin
Great work on all themes! Everything skins nicely to all the plugins that I've tried. Much easier to change a theme at any time, although slightly more difficult to customize single elements.
I've customized a few with different buttons, hilights, etc., but can't get my mind around how to save a theme.
Getting custom task images was a bit of a challenge, but I've now figured out where the .png's belong.
Some slight overlap of txt in TV guide that I'm working on, but overall, the slickest, easiest method of changing a skin/total look of gbpvr, with the least amount of effort.
You can never have enough tuners!

Thanks Reboot for the feedback.
Just ask questions or comment and I'll adjust.
I have written some info about adjusting/creating themes at

I tried following the instructions on the link above for creating, and can't find any of these:
6. Edit the installation path in sfxoptions.txt
7. Edit the Theme name in CallThemeName.bat
8. Run the CreateThemePack.bat and a distributable EXE file is created.

OK, I know they aren't in the ThemePacks.
I will put together a DesignerGuide Theme zip, where they are included.
Those files will create the selfextracting EXE file.

Just uploaded a Theme above the clouds called SkyHigh.
Works fine with the Weather plugin :-)

Digging through the .bat's you provided, and realize that this is all based on "Advisor". I'll have to change the names and paths to reflect "Basic" no?

No, that not needed.
The installation path is specified in sfxoption.txt
Path=%SKINROOT%\_Theme.YourName

The CreateThemePack.bat will change the name of the EXE file in the end of the bat file.

OK, I don't get this at all.
I have the files, I renamed the theme to Advisor.newname
I changed the path to reflect where MY version of winrar is installed.
It runs when I click on CreateThemePack.bat
Asks me if I want to overwrite Advisor.newname
Creates a file in root C:/ called "uploads".
WTF???:confused: :eek:

Sorry forgot to delete these line in CreateThemePack.bat
They are used for the upload to my wiki.

copy "..\Theme.%ThemeName%.exe" c:\upload
call c:\upload.bat
move "c:\upload\Theme.%ThemeName%.exe" c:\uploads

Updated and uploaded zip with bat files on my wiki.

Anyway your file Theme.newname is in the skin root. Check there and run the Theme.newname.exe

OK...some progress.
Renamed my theme to "Advisor.Gloss"
Edited the sfx so it reads thus
Code:
;The comment below contains SFX script commands

Path=%SKINROOT%\_Theme.Gloss
Setup=.\copytheme.bat
Overwrite=1
Title=Gloss ThemePack
Text
{
The ThemePack contains all files needed to change the appearence of the Basic Skin.

Files will be extracted to the directory %SKINROOT%\_Theme.xxxx if the skin skin root variable is set by the SkinRoot program.
You can also unzip this file with WinRar to the same directory.

Many of the ThemePacks are based on images/skins that are licenced under GLP, freeware or with permission from the from the designer.
Please read the readme text file for more info about credits and permissions for this ThemePack.

User will take full responsibility for continuing installation of this package.
}
Set CallThemeName.bat thus
Code:
@Echo Off

set ThemeName=Gloss
Ran the CreateThemePack.bat, and it creates an exe called "Theme.Gloss" in the same folder as the .bat's.
The "Theme.Gloss.exe" only contains the file "CopyTheme.bat".
Do I need to rename something differently?
Do I need to move the .bat's to a different folder?
I can't seem to get the big picture of what's going on, or why I need to use "Advisor" in anything?
Total :confused:
