I searched and read a few posts, but I just want to clarify--

I just upgraded to a HDTV and am now looking to add a HD tuner card to GBPVR.
I would like to set that tuner to only be available for the HD and digital channels, and for that tuner to always be the first one tried before going to an analog card.

the way to give it priority is to make it capture source #1, right??

also--
the HD and digital channels are on different frequencies than the analog channels
(I am sure they are like that almost everywhere)

is there a way to tell GBPVR that the HD card recording channel 102-9 is the same as the analog recording channel 12??
Server--AthlonXP 2100+ \ PVR150MCE \ HVR1600 x2
Client 1--Athlon64 3200+
Client 2--Athlon64 3700+
Client 3--Turion64x2 1.9 laptop

The general rule is that gbpvr will start looking from the top down in the list for an available capture source when recording, so you are correct on that point. When watching live tv, however, it will start looking from the bottom and up.

As long as they have the same name in your EPG (which is determined by your EPG source), then GBPVR will consider them to be the same, but if (I assume you use) zap2it has named them for example WXYZ and WXYZ-HD, then I'm not sure how you'd solve that.
I'm not always right
