Try to rename the file from "movie.ISO" to "movie.iso" and let me know if that works. I think it will, if so then I see my screwup and I'll have the fix up with the Final Beta maybe as early as tonight.

EDIT: Make sure to rename it both as the file itself and also inside the database the file name will need to be updated there too.

I guess i don't know where you would Change the ISO to iso. I have the Movies labeled my the name. I just changed it to Movie It was named something else.
It seems the Iso is not even mounting under daemon tools. If i manually mount the image it still won't play.

I guess i don't know where you would Change the ISO to iso. I have the Movies labeled my the name. I just changed it to Movie It was named something else.

Rename the file through windows explorer. To rename it in the database look at the specific movie in the Information Utility, you will see a line on there for filename, that is where you need to change it. Or just hang on for a little bit, I'm creating the update .zip now and should have it posted on the wiki shortly.

I downloaded the new final beta and installed it. Loaded the Iso into the database and saved the information. Loaded up gbpvr and got the same errors on play back. Log included.

I think the problem is in how I'm handling the filename but I can't be sure until we can make it work. Make sure to change the filename as appropriate in the database utility too. Let me know what happens with that and we'll go from there.

In windows explorer browse to the directory where the file is stored and right click on it, then select the rename option. Even though windows doesn't care about case it does remember it. C# (the language the plugin is programmed in) is case sensitive, the fix that I put in last night I thought I took care of that but the reason I'm asking you to change it anyways is just in case I missed a spot in the code. Also by taking out any spaces in the filename (like changing it to movie.iso) then it removes any possible problems that way too. However by changing the filename you will also need to let the database know that it changed, that is why you'll need to go into the information editor and change the filename in there too.

The log that you posted is showing that it doesn't think your file is an .iso filetype, now we need to find out why. You're right and wrong in your assumption that it's the same as the video library, the part of gbpvr that actually plays the file will be the same but the part that tells it what to play is different and the part that determines what type of file it is to tell gbpvr to play it is different also and that's where the error is. I can't recreate your error so to get this fixed I need for you to help me if you're willing.

The title in the database, I think what you're referring to as the label? is not really relevant for this just the filename itself. It would be best if you can change the filenames like I mentioned with gbpvr completely shutdown. Then startup gbpvr and try to play the movie. Then shut it back down and post your gbpvr.exe.log in it's entirety. You'll need to zip it up before you can post it onto the forum though as it'll be too large.

shrink. I do not have or know how to change the actual file as it is in a Iso Format. I have included a screen shot of the folder as they are named.

EDIT: ok scratch that I see the screenshots now. I'll go look at them now.

Unfortunately the screen shots didn't post, I'd guess they're too big for the board. It seems like explorer is hiding the file extensions on you which is what we really need to change. To turn that off do just like you did before and open up explorer and go to the directory where the files are stored. Then click 'Tools' on the menu bar then click 'Folder Options' this will popup a window labeled 'Folder Options'. Then click the tab 'View' and look for the option labeled 'Hide extensions for known file types'. Take out that checkbox then click 'OK'. Now look at the files in the explorer window and you should see the 2 movies you have there and it should show up like Factotum.iso.ISO rename it again to just factotum.iso with no spaces and no capital letters. Then use the new Movies Plugin Management.exe utility (came with the final beta update last night) and add the movie in completely from scratch. Save it and try to play it through the plugin then.

Also, are you using gbpvr 99.05? Just making sure so that we're on the same page.
