Config dies restarting recording service (with or without capture sources)

Hi,
I've just got gbpvr installed and rearing to go. Ive got a hauppage Nova-T 500 which works fine with the iffy wintv2K app. Ive tried to use the Config to setup the caputure sources, and have ticked the 'only show stuff thats detected' box, successfully finding tuner #1 and #2.

But, when I hit OK, an Info dialog pops up saying 'Restarting GB-PVR Recording Service - please wait...' and then I get a Unhandled Exception...

Seems like a reinstall fixed it, strange, I hadn't tweaked at all.
