HI,
Just wondering if any can help, when I watch a recorded show, every now and then it jerks, Like theres a frame thats been dropped, anyone had this problem?
I have tried playing through windows media player and its the same

my settings are as follows

Hardward decorder device :- None- use software decoder
it does give me the option of using :- pvr 350 or sigma designs x card, but I have`nt got these in my pc

Software MPEG-2 Playback:-Video decorder - system default
it gives me the option of using cyberlink

VMR9 selected

I have got a nvidia geforce 6600gt, should this be showing in the lists?

Thanks for any advice you can give

To determine if its a playback or recording problem, it would worth trying to play the file on another machine, or in a non-directshow based player like VLC.

What capture card are you using?

Hi sub,
I have just downloaded VLC and playback is alot more jerky through this, I`m using a usb receiver (ATMT).
The recordings seem to get better the further you go into the recording.

I hope that make sense.

Thanks for any advice you can give

Its probably something to do with your mux filter.

What is the output of MuxChecker on your machine?

Its probably worth trying a newer version of the Cyberlink mux. That one is pretty old. A lot of people prefer v5.0.0.1307.

...but before you ask....do a forum search. I dont have a URL for you.
