Network Shared Media Security Problems

I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I'm sure it is a permissions problem, but I have been unable to fix it yet. I have audio/video files located on one computer(server) and GBPVR running on a different computer(remote). When I run GBPVR locally on the remote all of the shared file appear fine. When I us a MVP I can not access the shared files (this is when the MVP servers were started by GBPVR). If I start MVP server manually it works fine. I did notice that when MVP was started by GBPVR it was running as the system user account, and when I started manully it was using my local user account. I have been all over the permissions on both computers but I can not figure out how to make it work correctly.

The system account has no access to network resources.  You can change the account that the GBPVR service runs as (using the services applet) to one which exists on both computers.  You may have to use UNC paths when specifying the path to the network files (e.g. \\server\share\mp3s).
