Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get DVD playback over component video at 1080i? I have GBPVR setup and working with TV and all videos @ 1080i with no problems, but trying to playback at that resolution, I get an error message about not being able to playback the DVD on the designated interface. If I downgrade the resolution to 480i, it works just fine. I am using Cyberlink decoders for DVD playback. I am thinking that the Cyberlink decoder is enforcing the movie studio standards for max 480 resolution over component, but can not be for sure... Any ideas or work arounds would be greatly appreciated. Also, I have a few older HDTVs, no other HD interfaces other than component. VGA would have worked as well, but I don't have that either...

Thanks!

I seem to recall some kind of limit with cyberlink.
Have you tried a different decoder?

I tried the DVD navigator and cyberlink only at this point... Any suggestions?

The only way I could ever get this to work was using an on the fly decryption software. I think the software was called dvd43. I also had the same problem with intervideo and cyberlink. I thought it was a restriction in Windows on encrypted dvds
