Community WS - OSD TV Guide issues

Hi,

seems to be size issues in the OSD for the TV guide overlay and corresponding program information. Text is too big as in other OSD issue you sorted earlier.

Looking at the \TVGuide\live-skin.xml file, all the font sizes are same as default blue and scaled for 720x480.

Let me look at the OSD files and see if there is something in there.

While we're on the topic of text size, is there a way of making the text size larger for all of the text in the community skin? I would rather not change each plugin individually....

Why yes there is. Almost all text styles are in the baseskin.xml file. Editing that one file will show results in every screen.

That is how I do HiVis themes (using the skin plugin). Some plugins I needed different xml's for to handle the larger sizes better.

In fact, I would suggest you start with a HiVis theme, then make changes from there because it copies over those alternate xml's. (Or copy the files manually from ..\gbpvr\skin\SkinPlugin\SkinMods\HiVis)

Thanks a lot! I think i'll be okay editing the baseskin.xml, just a little trial and error. Just like when I made the TV listings plugin skin for sassari look like the TV guide plugin. Just took some time. Thanks again!

Can you show me a screen shot of this? I cannot seem to find this.

My laptop doesn't have what it takes to run live. I have been having a hard time booting up my HTPC lately and debugged the problem to a faulty stick of memory. I have to get new memory chips for my HTPC tommorow. Might as well bump it up now. But as it is, it only is running on 256mb.

Ok, that is what I was seeing. I was expecting text being to large for the guide or something.

There is nothing I think I can do about that. The osd restricted to being 720x480 and that is the results on a HD set.
