Router upgrade, now Music sounds Chippy

Anyone got any ideas? I used to be able to stream 192CBR mp3s over 56mbps wireless G on an all Belkin network with WEP128 (WPA would not work since the connection was always dropping and reconnecting, but that's a seperate issue...)

Now I upgrade to Netgear MIMO Super G so it should be better right? Well Video works great, but for some reason Music (the same 192) is really chippy, totally inaudible.

I was hoping I could use 320bit but this is a real disaster!

Anyone got any suggestion for what I could check or come across something similar?

updated the mpv and gbpvr software and we got faultless 320bit cbr baby :-) (that's wireless fellas)
