Can you re-register the GBPVRParser.ax file, and set the streaming mode back to the default "streaming" mode, then reproduce the problem and repost the client and server logs?

I have absolutely no idea why, but on stopping/restarting the server and client to clear the logs, it's come back up working fine. In fact, it's perfect, better than I could have expected.
I'm delighted, if only I had any idea of what just happened! Thanks, I think!
seems like i've f$#cked up my generall config, now audio is out of sync on the client for finished recordings... time to get that clean image restored back
i'll do that during the we & post my progress / logs here.
kenwonders, what mux are you using & do you use streaming or the file share option?

I use the Cyberlink mux on the server and the streaming option. I still can't explain how I went from non-functional to functional, but it continues to work today.
ok, to sum it up: it's partially working. restored clean images on both client/server, installed 0.98.8b, with cyberlink mux & net share, no problem with live tv on client. updated to 0.99.5: live tv does no longer works under net share option. it immediatly starts stuttering every 1-2 seconds. switched to streaming, here it works (i find the response times under streaming to long, under net share skips where done within 0,5 sec, under streaming it takes up to 3 sec for each skip). as i have other issues with one particular channel, i would like to test another mux in the future. so i tested MS-DVR with net share: black screen & no reaction, no sound / picture, file on server is created & growing.
is anyone out there using 0.99.5, net share & has live tv working? if so, i would be interested which codecs / mux they are using.
i'm using cyberlink mux 5.0.2022 & cyberlink codec 5.0.0.2226 (other codecs like GPLMPEG / Nero had not been better, stuttering is still there)
sub, i've attached logs from client / server with the following situations, if you want to throw a look inside:
- 0.98.8b client & net share (working)
- 0.99.5 client & net share (NOT working)
- 0.99.5 client & streaming (working)
- 0.99.5 client with DVR-MS & net share (NOT working)
if you have any idea (i.e. options in config.xml) i could try out...
DVR-MS: ok, i'll wait for that to work again whenever that will be
any idea how i could get the net share option to work again? i'm not sure if it does work for you / anybody else, meaning that something in my config is strange, or if it's currently broken in 0.99.5 ...
I am receiving ASTC (not dvb like you i think?) and have had my best luck with the ATI mux (and streaming) when using 0.99.5. You may want to try that? With that said, my streaming has not been steller. It seems like standard def works better than high def source? Sounds like you have had good luck with 0.98...I may try that. Since mux checker does not show the ATI mux (i think sub said this), all i know is that i registered atidvcr.dll and atixcode.dll both show version 9.14.0.60504 (got them from ati avivo package).
Let us know if you have any success with anything else you try!
