Hi people,

I cant configure gbpvr to find any channels.

I have a NOVA-T-USB2 tuner and the Hauppauge software that came with it has no problem finding channels, so the card is working.

BDA Mux checker reports:
GB-PVR has detected the following multiplex filters on your machine:

Found: PP MPEG Muxer (aka, CyberLink MPEG Muxer)
FILE: C:\Program Files\CyberLink\PowerProducer\ppMpgMux.ax
VERSION: 5.0.2820

If you're running WinXP SP1 or higher, you will also be able to use the built-in DVR-MS mux filter

Ive tried configuring as follows:
Config => Capture Sources => Add
- Recording Source: BDA Recording Plugin
- Settings
- Device Type: Hauppauge Nova-T USB2
- Country: Southern England
- Region: Beacon Hill
- EPG Source: Either XML TV or BLEB (UK)
Ive got all the channels I want enabled.
I select "Map digital channels to EPG channels"
GBPVR scans, but doesnt find a single channel.

What else do I need to do?

Ive included my config logs.

Thanks

Sorry, I dont really know. The logs look fine, just never manages to lock onto a frequency.

Did you try selecting the 'all regions/all frequencies' setting, rather a specific transmitter? It might help.

Thanks for the reply.

GBPVR picked the channels up, but then hung.
The first time this happened, I couldnt even End Task.
I rebooted, and found there was an issue with drivers, so had to uninstall, then reinstall them before it detected the tuner card.
I tried searching all regions again and it froze again, although this time I was able to end task.
Ive included the logs again in hopes that they can be of some help.

Thanks

I also had this problem at one point in time. I was lucky and had already scanned my channels earlier. There were a few new ones I really didn't care about, but while trying to add those, the scanning froze every time. I never did find out the cause to this (since I wasn't too motivated to get those channels Wink), but it went away when I for another reason reinstalled my computer from scratch, OS and all... Not what you would like to hear, I know. Hopefully someone else can give you some more helpful hints....

Thanks for the help guys, I havent really tested it much yet, but it seems to be working.

Ending the process and then stopping and starting the service seems to have sorted the problem out. Dunno why a reboot didnt sort the problem out the first time round?

Anyways thanks for that "All Regions" suggestion, Sub. Big Grin
