Recording to network drive?

I'm mapping a drive to a fileserver, but that won't work for recordings. When I change the recording folder to c:\ all works great. Is this a feature or a bug? For me it's very inconvenient atleast.

The recording service run as another user, so it can see any drives that you map under your user account. In the control panel -> administrative tools -> services you can change the user to start under your use account if you need to be able to do this.
