Is it possible to launch the MedaiMVP server as a service or at least minimize the application to the system tray instead of in the task bar?

On the playback tab of the configuration application set "Number of servers to autostart" to 1.

Merry Christmas!

That's, that was what I needed. One interesting "bug" I've found is that while it works like I'd expect if I'm playing the World of Warcraft (I assume any DX3D game) and I alt-tab to the desktop while playing the MVP server window pops up. If I kill it (click the X) and alt-tab back in and then back out again I'll see the window for the GCPVR server.

Yes, I was aware of this (though you dont need to be playing a game), but decided it wasnt really worth fixing.

Re service,

does not the 'number of servers to auto start thing' only kick in once I've logged in ?

If I'm loged out, as a server is most of the time, can the MVP bit still work ? Would that not have to be a service then ?

You dont have to logged in. The MVP servers are started under control of the GB-PVR Recording Service.
