Thanks -- is there a difference in the way the data descriptions are parsed when using a DVB-T card -- I've noticed that here the descriptions get cut off. I'l have to check the analogue part again.

There is a known bug with using DVB EPG option that can cause long descriptions cut short. That is not the case with XMLTV, Zap2it etc.
