DVB-S EPG not working w/ Haupauge Nova-S

My DVB-S EPG updates are not working either with the Hauppauge Nova-S-Plus card. However on the second system which has a Twinhan card installed the DVB-S EPG updates are working fine (same dish and switch). Therefore I guess it is something else then the broadcast stream.

Please let me know how to help debugging the problem. I am using GBPVR 0.99.12.

What symptoms are you seeing exactly? Are you getting some listings, no listings?

BTW, the problems newyankee was reporting in this thread were solved by the pre-release I gave him (and setting the <BDASubmitTuningRequestTwiceOnRecord> to true in config.xml).

I am getting no listings at all on the Hauppauge system. Tried the <BDASubmitTuningRequestTwiceOnRecord> switch but no success.

Can you try to do EPG update, then zip and attach your config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log?

If you set <SaveDvbEpgXML> to true in config.xml, does a c:\dvbepg.xml file get created during the EPG update?

My problem has reoccured. EPG updates do only work from the main application after watching live TV - that fooled me into thinking the issue was fixed.

(1) No. Nothing happens. (I did add the full line as swissueli below)
(2) Tune to a channel from the first mux, then update: I get EPG update and the file.

Logs and the epg-xml are attached.

Working for me ... here is the file just in case ... needed to add the complete line to my config.xml file as follow

<SaveDvbEpgXML>true</SaveDvbEpgXML>
