Just discovered that if I hit my skip 60 seconds button, and there's < 60 seconds left in the program, it does nothing. It should jump to the end.

There is a catch-up button. Not what you want, I know, but you can achieve what you want by using it.

I realize that, but it makes sense to be able to keep hitting "skip 60 seconds" button and get to the end of the show. Why have to hit a different button to get to the end? Audio tapes, VHS, CDs, DVDs, etc. all do this.

I have to ask .. why would you even care? I mean really .. if there is 45 seconds left in the show, and you are going to skip them .. why bother? I don't get it.

This is the default behaviour of GBPVR (just a choice, isn't it). If there is less that 60 sec left just push back and the recording stops playing.

I think he wants this when watching shows timeshifted. To catch up to live tv. At lest that's when I would find it most useful.

You are watching timeshifted. Enter commercial. Skip. Skip. Skip (three times). Still in commercial. You want to catch up. It'd be nice if you could just press skip again, instead of the catch up button. Besides, I don't have a catchup button on my remote Wink
