Hello,
this problem was solved in version 99.05 with a patched version of psiparser.ax that don't care of CRC errors in PMT table, but now I have more or less the same problem again:

there are some channels on specific transponder that are not tuned.

I can fix the problem during scanning using "Ignore PMT CRC errors during scan" under "BDA Advanced Settings" but after, using Live TV, the channels are not tuned.

To me it appears like that the above setting is used only during scanning and not in normal tv view.

Let me know if you need the log files or any other details.

Regards

It was only required to find channels that first time during a scan. After than, the same logic doesnt not to be applied. ie, you've mapped the channels, and its stored the contents of the PMT table. Any time you watch that channel in the future, it uses the info that was cached at scan time.

Try watching that channel then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Hi SUB,
Thank you for your quick reply,
Attached you can find the requested logs.

As you can see I zapped between two channels on the same transponder and of the same provider, one, Hallmark, is visible, the other, Fox life, no.

The strange thing is that in the small preview windows of the setup program they all works.

Ah, I didnt realise you were also using a multidec plugin. Yes, this will require parsing the PMT at all times. I've attached a version that should do this for you, but you'll need to add the following registry setting:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Devnz\BDAIgnorePMTCRCErrorsAlways=1 (DWORD)

Ignore that extra space the vbulletin forum software has inserted.

I dont do this by default because we found that when I made this change for you last time, it caused the app to crash for lots of people. (because it try parse corrupt packets etc).

It'd be better if you could stick with the new one, since it fixes some other bugs.

It take a minute or so for attachments to show up. You should be able to see it by now.
