Lol. I always thought the MMC was the Microsoft Management Console. Smile

Anyway, great new front page Sub, I was a little freaked out at first, thinking that GBPVR had gone commercial, but after reading all of the info, I calmed down.

A minor suggestion, but on the Software Requirements page, you have "It will not work on Windows 95 or Windows 98 will not work." You may want to reword that. Wink

Great job as always, Sub!!

Tamzin is in Hotel Babylon now (which is rather good) - which gbpvr faithfully records for me when I forget it's on Smile

Is this something GB-PVR users need to worry about? No. In fact, this is not a new occurrance occurrence. The change took place a long time ago. If it wasnt wasn’t for the support I've received from Wellton Way, the GB-PVR project would not be here today.

Who is Wellton Way? They're a great group of guys based in Sweden, with a strong focus on bringing innovate innovative entertainment solutions into the living room. They have a lot of great ideas to help make GB-PVR an even better application than it is today.

Just some suggestions. I couldn't figure out how to do strikeouts so red is bad, green is good.

Cheers

Does Welton Way have anything to do with "Menten Holdings"?

When I upgraged to .95 I noticed Menten Holdings listed in the GBPVR license. I googled it at the time and got only one hit (a GoogleWhack!) that listed a company selling some kind of industrial inventory managment software. I googled it today and got no hits at all (just like GBPVR, Menten Holdings was only listed in the terms of use for their software).

We have an expression in the states..."Don't look a gift horse in the mouth". I certainly do not mean to pry into things that are none of my business. I am thrilled to have the use of this great free software.

I was really hoping to stumble onto another of Subs projects. Perhaps the super secret Devnz operating system? If Linus Torvalds can do it I'm sure sub can!Big Grin

think about what sub has created... an entire media center front end, which uses directshow for playback.

linus build linux off of minix, which was an extremely stripped down unix distribution his teacher used in a class...

I would say sub's achievement is pretty close
