Hello!
I cant connect to netradio stations when trying with GBPVR

If i put the same url in media player the stations plays just fine.

Im using WIndows XP SP2 MP10 and Net 1.1 and net2.0

Anyone has a clue why GBPVR is unable to connect to netradio stations?

Se my attached log

Is this the built-in net radio, or the web redio plugin, which I also see in your logs?

Does setting <UseWindowsMediaPlayerForNetRadio>false</UseWindowsMediaPlayerForNetRadio> in config.xml help?

I cant get neither netradio or web radio to work.....my netradio has never been working even before my web radio install.

Does setting <UseWindowsMediaPlayerForNetRadio>false</UseWindowsMediaPlayerForNetRadio> in config.xml help?

No the only difference is that i can see GBPVR trying to connect to the different stations...but aint able to do it

But one other strange thing....my music library cant play more than one file in playlist when:
<UseWindowsMediaPlayerForAudio>true</UseWindowsMediaPlayerForAudio>
The visualisations seems to prevent GBPVR to play more than one file in a playlist. I dont know if these problems are connected.

I attach the log when trying without MediaPlayerNetradio

Its failing to connect to the remote site. I'm guessing some firewall software is stopping the GB-PVR process from connecting out to this site.

I just tried this here and it seemed to work ok.

The only things I can think of, or have seen before, are firewall problems or DNS problems (where name cannot be resolved). Its worth noting that some antivirus or web accelerator software also perform a firewall function, hooking into processes like gbpvr.exe monitoring the network traffic.

When you have <UseWindowsMediaPlayerForNetRadio>false</UseWindowsMediaPlayerForNetRadio>, then everything is done by Windows Media Player, with no interaction from GB-PVR, but in the gbpvr.exe process, which really makes me think it is a software firewall type issue.

How do GBPVR know where to sent that stream request....?

You cant think of some path problems??

Can it be that gbpvr sends that request to some backyard somewhere??
