I just got a pvr-150 and have just installed gb-pvr after trying wintv2k, beyondtv, and windvr. I set up the config as described in the quick start link at left and when i restart the service I get a message saying "This system does not appear to support VMR9. Please try a different renderer." please advise...

thanks in advance

try a different renderer.

in the config app you have a choice between : VMR9, VMR7 and overlay
try one of the others; this can be found in the "playback" tab.

did overlay, I can see the menu now, but when I click on livetv it has a black screen for like three minutes now, does this take a while to load? wintv2k took like 20 min. I have a P3 833 on this machine, is that enough? thanks

I uninstalled win dvr, defraged, rebooted, installed .net, directx, and mdac (i am running 2kpro) and then I installed gb-pvr. I have then tried it, should I reboot again? when I click live tv the little gb in the taskbar goes green for a while then goes back to red.... thanks

okay, I finally got a message saying "Error: failure playing back file"
i never used tune tuner... what is that?

should I run xp instead? the only reason I am still using 2k is that one of my pals swears it is more stable and I only have 256 ram

edit: now I have file in my storage drive of the live tv I was trying to watch, I think I set up the config wrong, could you please tell me the best settings? I have a c drive w/30 gb and another hd w/ 160gb that I want to record to. I found the file on the 160 drive. thanks

Reproduce the problem, then email the log files from c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr to me at support@devnz.com.

What country are you in?

ok, I just went through tuner tune and all the channels came in nicely.
I just went to live tv and I am still just getting a black screen.
I believe my video card is intel based, it is the one the computer came with.  I have no aftermarket video card.

I am in the US
