LiveTV Exit Issue

Hello,

I just installed a fresh copy of XP and GB-PVR. The system is working really well and I've been really impressed by how smoothly the installation went and how well everything has worked. I'm using an nVidia DualTV card and the PVR functions seem to be working quite well.

I am only have one problem. When watching LiveTV, the picture comes in and I am able to watch everything well; however, when I hit ESC to go back to the main menu, the picture feezes and nothing comes up. If I resize the window, I am able to see the menu screen BEHIND the frozen LiveTV picture, but it does not clear the LiveTV thing.

The machine is really clean. I have the nVidia DualTV guy set up, Windows XP and GB-PVR. That's about the only thing on the entire system.

I cant really see anything obvious in the logs, but does changing the video decoder or video renderer change this behaviour?

I messed around with the video decoder and video renderer settings. Changing the Video Decoder dosen't do anything (my choices are System Default or NVIDIA).

I started changing the renderer settings and, changing it to VMR9 Custom seems to make the LiveTV function work, but will not play any of my recorded episodes. Also, it does not seem to work in fullscreen mode. Switching it to VMR9 Fullscreen seems to make it work in fullscreen, but not windowed.

So, I guess the problem remaining is the fullscreen/window'd problem and the recorded video playbacks. How should I proceed?

I'm not really sure. Sound like a bit of an odd one.
