I bought Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 1600 yesterday and I am completely new to TV tuners. Last time I had a USB tuner for laptop but in order to make it work, I had to install various drivers, s/w etc. I am not sure what all is really required to work with TV tuners. But all the junky drivers and other s/w were loaded into my laptop.
Well, I do not want to use any of the s/w that comes with Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 1600 but could you provide me a checklist of all the items required to get start using HVR 1600?
After installing, what drivers do I really need?
