recording source=bda plugin
epg=whatever youre gonna use (DVB maybe???)
channel changer=none
when setting up your capture source check the 'only show detected devices' box. This should then show your 1300 as a nova-t.
map digital channels, update EPG.
thats about it I think...

Cheers, I followed your instructions and I am now getting digital, however I seem to be getting a slow stuttered picture from the only available software encoders, how can I get it to recognize the inbuilt mpeg hardware encoder on the hvr 1300, cheers
I'm pretty new to GB-PVR and the HVR series but have you tried the new "TS MUX" option in config for the digital side of recording?
The first thing we usually suggest at shspvr.com is to play the recorded file with multiple applications on different computers to determine if the problem is a recording situation or just a playback problem. MediaPlayerClassic (MPC) is usually a easy alternative to try and it will play ts files using it's built-in decoder. (encoder = recording: decoder = playback/viewing) Check CPU usage also. A 90% - 100% usage is probably going to be bad; both from a playback and recording standpoint.
I have configured my hvr 1300 ok but when i try to map the channels i get a message,
gb-pvr was unable to start the bda device you have configured.check the device is configured properly, and not already in use.(reason;failed to locate configured bda capture device)
I click ok and a underhandled exception message comes up, thease are the details below,
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
i am running two pvr 150 s they are fine, i have all cards working in wintv32, and am able to record that way round with the hvr 1300.
have tried removing digital card and drivers etc, then reloading, also tried reloading gbpvr, so thats why i am here!

Unfortunately the useful bit of your logs is missing. The logs get overwritten each time you start the app. Can you reproduce the problem, then post the logs again?
