I posted previously regarding high mem usage and have established that a standard fresh restarted GBPVR would utilize an average of 55MB or so usage as I stated in this thread http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...t=high+mem

However, would like to know why I sometimes get a unusually low mem usage whenever the MediaMVP server is reinstantiated when I put my MVP to sleep/standby. At these low levels, the MVP will not connect and I have no choice but to restart the GBPVR service or terminate the MVP server processes.

This is because Task Manager isnt a good way to view memory usage. To see what I mean, start GB-PVR then look at the Task Manager memory usage for gbpvr.exe. It might be using something like 55MB. Then minimize GB-PVR and check the memory usage in Task Manager again - it'll now be something like 4MB. Its not using any less memory, but rather than Task Manager is reporting the Working Set or some other memory usage that doesnt give a real representation.

If you need to see real memory usage, you'd need to run something like perfmon, monitoring the 'private bytes' for gbpvr.exe
