Program launcher

Is there a plugin that allows users to launch programs from within the GBPvr gui? I've noticed that the myprograms plugin is no longer supported and is noted as not working with newer versions of GBPvr ...

I believe the author of gamezone indicated he was going to support generic pcgames/apps in the next release. I think he mentioned somewhere around the beginning of April.

Also the GameZone Plugin has support for the MyPrograms Plugin. What you need to do is setup the programs you want to have links for in GBPVR in the MyPrograms Plugin, then run the GameZone Plugin Config and close both the GameZone Plugin Config and the GBPVR Config windows using the OK button.

Then go to the GameZone Plugin in GBPVR and their SHOULD be a MyPrograms button on the left which contains all the links you setup in MyPrograms.

Note: I haven't used MyPrograms with GameZone in a long time since all my emulators are now supported by GameZone.

I think you would just run it from MyPrograms in that case. Too bad there's no source to MyPrograms and Reven's other plugins. Somebody might have been willing to keep updating his code.

So now I'm a bit confused. Does MyPrograms work with the latest release or not? I guess I could try it, but my machine is extremely stable and wouldn't want to muck things up if MP has issues.

I think it does work if you have the latest version. I was using it on 99.05 to launch games that gamezone handles now.

If you know the command for the program you want to run ahead of time you can setup a custom task in the config.exe's "Plugins" tab.
