Seems that TMPGEnc DVD Author gets round it somehow since it creates DVDs that play the move then stop when they get to the end. Whatever Smile

I'm still looking for an all-in-one tool - since, although my experience is that best-of-breed, single-function software is usually better, the sheer volume of stuff I seem to be burning these days (thanks to GBPVR!) means that a more streamlined approach would be less onerous.
- Silent client PVR: HDPlex HS.1 aluminium fanless case / Thin-ITX ASRock H81TM-ITX motherboard / Intel Celeron 1850T CPU / 4GB RAM / 120GB SSD / TBS6982 DBS-S2 dual-tuner card / Win10+nPVR+Plex Media Player feeding LG OLED55B6V + Anthem MRX510 AV Receiver / PMC GB1 / B&W / REL speakers.
- Noisy NAS: Xeon / Intel mobo / 16GB RAM / FreeNAS + Ubuntu VMs on VMware ESXi + 12TB RAID
running Plex Media Server

That's cool TMPGEnc gets around the menu thing. Good to know!

Yea, I hear you. I'm still kinda looking for an all-in-one as well. I know most video editing software can accomplish this, but I'm only aware that Ulead's products have the option to not reencode the entire video frame. Reencoding the entire video frame is essentially the same as recompressing a JPEG image, it quickly degrades quality.

I use VideoReDo with DVR-MS files ... The current version does support them.

Yea, I think that's what I'm using because I tried to have it find a DVR-MS file and it didn't see it.

You have to enable the option for output, IIRC. In the tools menu hold "shift" then options. An advanced menu opens up with an option to output DVR-MS; set to "true".

In "File Types" in regular "options" menu there is a checkbox to add DVR-MS files to the recognized file types.
