As per title, GBPVR has been working great for the last week or so. Today video has started freezing when entering timeshift mode. I can escape to menu and try again but with the same result. No idea where to start here as I have made no changes. Tried rebooting with no result. Logs attached. Any help appreciated.

edit: My pvr setup is as follows:
athlon xp2100
1gb ram
hauppauge pvr250 via svideo from expressvu sat receiver
usb-uirt
radeon 9600xt to toshiba 46" RP HDTV via component video through ATI component adapter, settings adjusted via powerstrip

Those logs are all from 2004. I'm assuming you've got some more up to date logs you can post?

2007-04-03 20:19:38.453 VERBOSE - Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Crossbar
I'm guessing its related to the decoder I've highlighted above, which is very rarely seen in any logs posted here.

You'd be much better of explicitly selecting the decoders you want to use rather than relying on 'system default'. This settings is prone to working one day then not the next (usually because some other software you've installed has changed the system default).

OK thanks, I tried that, that decoder doesn't even show up in the list of options, so i selected some pretty standard decoders. Heres the logs from right after it froze.

Do you have any other video decoders other than the nvidia one you can try?

Also try switching video renderers to see if it helps.

OK thanks for your help so far, still have some problems/errors but i can get it to play if i press play after entering timeshift mode. It pauses/freezes for a second then seems to work ok. I have a big delay (30 seconds or so) after starting the program and entering live tv before I can do anything. I'll post back with any serious problems, thanks for your assistance sub.

It pauses immediately after entering timeshift mode, so its normal that you'd have to press play. The VMR7/VMR9 renderers are not able to update the screen unless video is playing, so can result in black screen - not the case with Overlay, VMR9 Custom, VMR9 FSE.

This can depend on the number of channels and/or days of listings in your TV guide, which is automatically loaded in the background, and needs to be completed before some other activities can be done.
