I've been using GBPVR for about a week now, and its awesome, and my scheduled recordings seem to be working fine, until tonight. The "G" was green as in record mode, even went in and it said it was recording, that I couldn't watch LiveTV but could watch the show that was recording. The recording directory created folders for the shows that were to be recorded. But afterwards, there are no recordings anywhere - from within the program or in the folders? These two shows were back to back, could it have been a conflict problem? There was no conflict in that area tho. I am using pre-show and post-show padding tho. Is that wrong? Thoughts?

It looks like one of the drivers is returning an error. I havnt seem this same error before, so not sure what the solution is.

Does a reboot fix it?

The shows that failed were "Grease" and "Apprentice" back to back on NBC Sunday night, although it said they were recording.

I haven't tried since rebooting. I have "Heroes" set for tonight! Better do it.

i did realize in my computers volume control recording settings i did change it to a different selector, from Analog Mix to MP3/Wave, I wonder if that messed it up, seeing that it did say it was an audio error. I changed it back. should work fine.

I've been getting the same error ("failed to start Conexant Graph") periodically. I'm using a Hauppauge 1600.

Is there a driver I should update?

For anyone with the same problems using a Hauppauge HVR-1600, I think I might have fixed it. When I initially installed the card, I installed from the included CD and I didn't read the directions first.

I downloaded the latest drivers from the Hauppauge HVR-1600 Support page and followed the detailed reinstallation instructions there.

It's only been 6 hours, but so far so good.

I thought I had this one solved, but the Analog source has stopped recording now and I can't get it to start again.

I've attached my logs. This appears to be (a symptom of) the problem:

"2007-04-06 00:40:30.424 ERROR failed to start Conexant Graph"

I've rebooted numerous times, removed and reinstalled Hauppauage software, ran the "Repair" option in the GBPVR install, and everything else I can think of. Nothing helps.

I'm using an HVR-1600.
