You should get one of those new Refridgerators with the built in LCD. I bet Sub could get GBPVR to run on it.

No cat-5 or coax in our kitchen. We are low tech. Just ran new wire for microwave. Why do people run 14 gage wire on a 20 amp circuit????

Had all kinds of fun pulling off intake manifold last year to replace leaking gasket. Not like in the old days, remove a few bolts and done.

Reminds me of the time a friend's wife did some switch and outlet replacements at her house. To make a long story short, On the three way switch, one of the travelling pair was wired to the ground lug on the switch. Since the ground lug didn't go anywhere else it didn't short. It just put a hot wire on the switch case in one case. Nice..

Course every outlet she replaced was a crap shoot which side of the outlet she had the black wire on.

For reference:

The National Electrical Code [NEC] requires their own cable sizing for premises wiring. Refer to the NEC rules to determine building wiring, as this page relates to electronic equipment wiring. For reference, the ampacity of copper wire at 300C for common wire sizes
14 AWG may carry a maximum of 20 Amps in free air, or 15 Amps as part of a 3 conductor cable.
12 AWG may carry a maximum of 25 Amps in free air, or 20 Amps as part of a 3 conductor cable.
10 AWG may carry a maximum of 40 Amps in free air, or 30 Amps as part of a 3 conductor cable.
8 AWG may carry a maximum of 70 Amps in free air, or 50 Amps as part of a 3 conductor cable.

Painted the wall around the fireplace a turtle green as an accent wall (rest of walls eggshell - looks nice!). Hung 3rd new fan in living room - first one, a Monte Carlo, buzzed, 2nd one, a Hampton Bay buzzed worse, finally sprung for a Hunter - quite as a mouse! All carpet ripped out, next big task is laying down toast bamboo flooring glued to foundation - total bottom floor except kitchen/breakfast room and bedroom. Probably start this weekend. Then, new carpet in bedroom.

Hey, while back changed the sparkplugs on my 95 Dodge Avenger 2.5l - had to pull the whole intake manifold off to get to the back 3 plugs, changed the valve cover gaskets at same time - took 3.5 hrs - man, I miss the good ol' days of car mechanics!
