Sorry, I'll try to better explain my situation.
The remote I have is an HID device which emulates a USB keyboard.
It has no driver (except for the Microsoft default USB keyboard driver).
For that reason it has no software to configure the keys on the remote.
So I thought I can change the key mapping to match the keys which exist on the remote I have.
I used ShowKeys.exe to figure out the syntax that Key mappings XML is using.
The keys of my remote all contain modifiers and some contain multiple modifiers.
For example skip forward is ^F, fast forward is +^F and eject is +^%E.
From the test I've done and your reply to a previous message I understand the GBPVR is not capable of handling multiple modifiers in a single key stroke.
For example when I press +^F it performs the action assigned to ^F.
I was trying to understand if you have plans to support multiple modifiers in the key mapping, or if it is possible to write a plug-in which will translate the keys for GBPVR.
I'm a programmer as well, and I would be glad to do it, if it is supported by the infrastructure.
I know a lot of people using this remote and the original PVR software it came with and I think GBPVR is much better, I think most of them will switch to GBPVR if it would be possible to use it with the existing remote, since it is so well integrated into the hardware.
