Hi. I am from Czech Republic and our EPG texts contains jots with diacritics marks (which are now displayed as square). I have not fount the possibility how to change the text codepages - in my case to Win 1250 or iso8859-2 (nor in SkinEditor) Undecided. How can I solve this problem? Thanks!!! Rooomish

GB-PVR uses unicode for everything, so should be able to work with it. I know its certainly working for a lot of others using languages such as hewbrew etc.

Can you zip and attach one of your xmltv files?

Yes of course, but I am using as EPG source "DVB EPG broadcast". In which directory (and under which name) I can find the program database file (?really xmltv format?)

thnx rooomish

Ah, ok. Sorry you might be out of luck on that front. Thats a really tough one for me test, particularly not knowing the language or receiving transmissions with these EPGs

I surfed Czech internet space a little bit:

On the beginning of every DVB-T signal frame with EPG is expected information with language definition (not codepage), in case of Czech language it is CZE or CES label. In that case software is using codepage ISO6937. ISO in broadcasted EPG is used because it needs only 8 bits for each symbol Unicode 16 bits.

Mybe it helps.

If you have access to a web server or ftp server, and can arrange to record a sample full transport stream recording, I'll take look.

To be honest, I'd probably need at least 50MB, but I'll take a look.

Sorry I just re-read your post. I'd actually need the full multiplex since this is the only type of recording that will include the EPG listings.
