Hi,

I'm not sure if I'm just don't get it or what. I'm trying to change my keymappings via the .../keymappings/xxxx.xml files. I've done this before so it should not be difficult but I seem to have run into a wall here.

I've been using a wireless keyboard for some time now and have remapped keys mostly for the video player do things like spacebar (play/pause) and "P" (play) make more sense within GBPVR. Been working very well. I can modify the VideoPlayer.xml file with any keymapping that I want and it works fine. But when I try to branch out by changing the mappings for other things like MainMenu.xml or Recordings.xml, all of the changes are ignored and it just goes on doing it the old way.

The reason I'm back to messing with mappings at all this is the iphone. There is a neat app out there that lets me use the iphone as a keyboard and mouse to a computer on the local network so I'm trying to get it to work. Why??? Cause it's there. Problem is that the iphone doesn't have things like arrow keys, esc key and F keys on its native keyboard. So I have to remap so that within GBPVR I can use another key to do things like fast forward (instead of the right arrow key thats missing from the iphone keyboard.)

I'm sure I'm missing something here so I hope someone can get me back on track.

Thanks

Alot of the core key mappings, like up/down/left/right/enter/home/esc are hardcoded and cant be changed.

Bummer.

Can they be added to? For example; in the player I can use down arrow and the Z key by adding the Z key into the .xml file.

I tried it but it don't work but just in case there is a way to do it I figured I'd ask.
