Hi
I posted a request in the hardware section a few days age about my old nova-t, and got a very helpfull responce, thanks for that.
I managed to get the DBA drivers in as suggested and even managed to get the egp xml file done using (XMLTVGUI) and mapping the xml file in gbpvr.
TV works and recording and playback seems fine too as far as I have tested it.
at least it does in gbpvr interface but when I try live TV on the MVP the screen goes black and then the MVP just reboots, same when trying to play back a recorded TV event.
I read in the Forum that I need a muxer? I did run the mux tester in gbprv and apparently none was in my system, I had a version of showshifter so I registered the mux from that but still the same problem.
I also read from the forum that cyberlink mux is the one to use for the old nova-t but not sure where to get that one or if its only the one file I need to register.
Do you think that the problem is due to not having the cyberlink mux installed in my system? the MVP is a wireless one but I am not using the wireless yet so it cant be bandwidth as its on a 100 meg ethernet switch.
Any suggestions to solving the problem would be great
Regards
Ian
