Hi Sub,
Was wondering if you could add the ability to have GBPVR look at shortcuts as if they were an mpg file. What would be nice is to shutdown the recording service, move files to another drive, create shortcuts in the recordings directory to the files on the other drive, then start the service back up (or reload the xml dump instead of stopping/starting the service). The shortcuts have the same name as the files, though they are obviously shortcuts and GBPVR will not allow that.
What would it take to do that? I think it would be REALLY a neat feature and enable us folks with several drives to keep all of our recordings in the "RECORDINGS" menu. I think that with USB enclosures and drives becoming so cheap that a lot of users will start using them and this feature will go great with that. That also provides a solution to the age-old question people have always asked here about having more than one "recordings" directory. The "video library" is ok but as you know it doesn't keep all the metadata which is a bummer.
Thanks in advance, I hope you will consider this!
