Hello,

#1. Evrything is working well, but I'm having a picture quality issue. I see a trail on objects that move on my screen. Its very noticibale during sports events or when people move very quickly. Is there a way to resolve this. I've tried different cables/connections, etc. Nothing seems to help.

#2. I have a 52 inch flat screen HDTV. I understand that we can not record in HD, however, I'm having a slight graiy issue with my recorded programs. Could this be due to my TV resolution. My HD channels come in much clearer then my regular channels. However my Regular channels are coming in clearer then my recorded programs.

I have a PVR-500 and I'm useing the MediaMVP. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Try burning a recorded show to DVD and play it in your regular DVD player. If the picture is bad, then adjust the recording settings (look in Wiki for Hauppauge tweak tool from cask-of-amontillado).

Most likely, the picture will be better on the DVD, so the problem lies with your video decoder (codec). Try some different ones (intervideo that came with your card, NVIDIA PureVideo) and try changing the de-interlacing methods, hardware acceleration, etc. Look in the wiki for Nvidia Tweak. You can change the intervideo settings, but only using the registry.

Another thing to try is replacing the quartz.dll which causes problems for some.
