Is there a setting that I missed that will make GBPVR record a show at a specific time and *only* at a specific time?

I want to record South Park at 10pm on Wednesdays, but when I set up the recording it records any episode between 8:30 and 11:30. Comedy Central shows a repeat episode at 9:30pm and I've finally gotten sick and tired of having to delete that recording from the pending recordings list.

If there isn't any way to change this in a current version, please let me know the most recent previous version that will work. I have most of the old versions backed up.

Thanx

This is normal. A timeslot season recording schedules recordings for any shows with the same name that have a start time in +/-90 minutes of the original show's start time. Its done this way to accomodate slight changes to the schedule of a show that might occur (like running late an hour due to special event before it). It works well in most situations, but the situation you described can happen if multiple shows with the same name air around the same time (this is mainly a USA-ism).

If this doesnt suit you, you can edit the <AllowableTimeslotVariance> setting in config.xml. The default is 90 (minutes). If you set it to 0, then it'll only record shows that start at the exact time...but dont come crying if the show runs late one day.

Dont take it the wrong way. To convey the correct emotion, I should have added a smiley to the end of the sentence... Big Grin
