DBox2 - Can't get any channels after EPG update.

DBox2 is connected to router by ethernet cable,
router is connected to PC by ethernet cable,
cable TV is goes to Dbox2 by cable to the 'antenne' connection.

I am using the Neutrino image and I have uploaded the local services.xml file by FTP.
IP address is 192.168.0.2
Gateway is 192.168.0.1
DBox2 IP is 192.168.0.3
I can see the names about 150 channels on the DBox2 screen so I presume all is ok there.

I'm using XMLTV for the EPG but after I update this no channels come up.

Any help appreciated.

Have you ever scanned for Channels with this Dbox before and has it been connected to a TV to make sure it is all working ?

What do you mean by saying nothing comes up ..

Hi,

do you have a valid xmltv file to load the epg data from? Most likely you will first have to first produce the file using the xmltv application and then point to that file in the configuration of the capture source.

Here's my setup:

DBox2 is flashed with image that works locally and services file is installed also.
Box is connected by network cable to router which is connected to PC network card. On the LCD display I can see the name of over 100 channels.

I have installed XMLTV GUI.
I go to: GBPVR Configuration - Capture Sources - Edit - EPG Source Settings - Browse - and I select the XMLTV GUI Data XML file - OK - Update EPG.

No channels appear, and the "Map Digital Channels to EPG Channels" stays grayed.

I have also put in " http://xmltv.radiotimes.com/xmltv/channels.dat " in the XMLTV File box.

Hi PT-I you were helping me on another forum.
I haven't tested it on a tv as I haven't got one, but of course I could use someone else's tv. I presume I'll need a scart cable for this.

Am I doing everything right here?

the problem is that you don't have any channels in the file you're pointing to as xmltv source (it's 156 bytes small). Without that, you won't have any success with any capture source. Maybe the wiki page helps you.
